Big Futures Inc. has developed a special philanthropic agreement with Rotary International District 5370; serving an area that includes Rotary clubs in Northern Alberta, Northeastern British Columbia, and as far north as Yellowknife, NWT. This Rotary District has chosen to utilize key Moon Project® strategic planning and leadership development components for the 2008-2011 timeframe. The chief aim of The Moon Project® will be to serve as a critical resource in helping the District, and it's over 60 clubs and 2,500 members, to move forward with their key growth targets, charitable efforts and club leadership development initiatives.
The scope and time horizon of this agreement is unprecedented; and allows Big Futures the opportunity to fully leverage The Moon Project's inherent strengths and capabilities in a non-for-profit organization recognized as legendary in it's long-term global success and local community impact.
The Rotary International District 5370 Moon Project® initiative will be highlighted at The Fall Assembly - Peace Region on Saturday, October 4; and at The Fall Assembly - Edmonton on Saturday, October 18!
The success of this agreement with District 5370 also has the potential to grow well beyond this significant first step; possibly generating interest from other Districts over the coming year at a time when the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of man's first steps on the moon lies just ahead (July 2009)!
